Advertising

I’m a marketer by trade, so I’m not opposed to advertising your product or website on my blog. However, as a marketer, I know how easy it is to let things get out of hand. Therefore, there are going to be some rules.

  • My Favorite Things links and Ode to My… segments are sacred spaces, reserved only for tried and true products that I think everyone should know and love. That doesn’t mean your product can’t get on that list if it becomes a new favorite, but if something else up there it’s because it belongs there.
  • I only publish content written by me. I won’t publish your advertising content disguised in a blog post and I certainly won’t claim it as my own, so don’t ask.
  • I don’t sell content, but I am open to suggestions for posts. If I like your idea, sure, I’ll post about it, but only if it works in the spirit of this site.
  • Sorry, there’s no Blogroll here, and as cooking blogs get added to my Favorite Things, rest assured they’ll only be my favorites. Feel free to tell me about your blog and to link to mine; after all, I won’t know if you’re a favorite until I see your blog. However, I don’t trade links just ‘cuz, so please don’t let it hurt your feelings if I don’t return the favor immediately.

That said, I’d love to try your product! I love food products of all sorts and gadgets of all kinds, and I’m always looking for new and exciting places to shop online, especially gourmet and specialty stores. I love trying new things and I’d be happy to report on yours.

My promise to my readers is that I will never endorse any product I don’t love.

So please, send me things that I’ll love! For details on advertising and where to send samples, contact info@shortcutchef.com

    roman shades french doors…

I think this website has some rattling superb information for everyone. “There is nothing so disagreeable, that a patient mind cannot find some solace for it.” by Lucius Annaeus Seneca….

I Confess…

All my cakes come from boxes. My spaghetti sauce isn't from scratch, and I think making my own pasta and bread (unless it comes from a mix…) is rarely worth the effort. I believe individually frozen chicken breasts and ready-made pie crusts are among the best inventions ever. Through these menus, recipes, tips and recommendations, I hope to show that the options for creative cooking are limitless, even when time and money are not.
